Lighting Up Brixham is an initiative by Vicky Pritchard-Davies and Neil Worrell.
Vicky (aka 'Vixxxy') was born in the ‘Bay’ and has lived in Brixham all of her life. She worked in the famous harbourside 'Quayside Hotel' for 25 years (we know, it's hard to believe - she started there when she was seven - honest...) and enjoys meeting all types of people – particularly famous ones - and she has met quite a few!
She has been on the organising committee of two of Brixham’s famous festivals, Fishstock and BrixFest. And she has won awards including ‘Queen of the Bay’ for her Twitter and Facebook feeds, so is a bit of a whizz on social media.
Watch out for new fundraising events in aid of ‘Lighting Up Brixham’ organised by Vix in the coming months - they are always fun. And expect a visit from her soon ... to chat about Lighting Up Brixham.

Neil (aka 'Mr Bossy') moved to Brixham in 2011. He restored an old church in the town and then bought and restored the Golden Hind Ship in the harbour with his wife, Jackie. She sadly died in 2017 and so Neil then decided to retire from business and dedicate himself to 'other things'. He, and others, are still trying to work out what the 'other things' are ...
Anyhow... with Vixxxy he launched 'Lighting Up Brixham' to raise money for, and create great new lighting designs and invest in permanent improvements for the town - he is an architect so is full of ridiculous ideas, naturally
If you see any designs on this website, he is probably to blame.
They are both still enthusiastic to do more for Brixham, with YOUR help.
Thank you
Vixxxy & Neil
